President Kristie and members of the Alabama Executive Board are putting together some requested training.
Our first classes will be offered at the GMF in Montgomery in the upstairs training room on October 21 & 23.
Our Webmaster, Karmen Grant has created a survey to help determine preferred times (see link below).
Subjects on October 21st will be KSAs and Interview Tips. This is geared towards those that have already created KSAs and need assistance to rework and update them. Interview tips will include Dos & Don'ts for interviews, suggested prep for interviews including reports to pull and the expected array of questions.
Subjects on October 23rd will be Communication and Investigative Interviews. This will include handling the hard conversations such as giving instructions, addressing performance, etc. This training will offer guidance to those who have trouble with these tasks. Investigative Interviews will offer guidance and suggestions on how to prepare for an II, questions to ask, and how to use follow-up questions.
We hope this training will help all members to improve their management knowledge, skills and abilities.
